MRMA Featured Property for April 2001: Scandia Towers

Scandia Towers is located in the heart of Waikiki at
155 Paoakalani Avenue. The building features 42 fee-simple
units and is located adjacent to several shuttle stops
and bus stops for Honolulu's "The Bus" transit
system.
The location in Waikiki is ideal, just a few steps from
the beach and one block to Kapiolani Park or the Honolulu
Zoo, and is close to all the popular locations in Waikiki.
Hawaiiana Management Company, represented by Ms. Jean
Fujimoto, is the property management firm for the building.
The building was well maintained, and the owners and tenants
well taken care of by their professional resident manager,
Gary Pendergraft.

April 2001's Resident Manager was: Gary Pendergraft!
He had to retire because of illness.
Gary was one of the newer members of MRMA, but made
friends so readily he was already popular with all the
resident managers. Known for his professional approach
to property management, everyone in his building and all
his fellow managers knew they could count on Gary. Even
though he had only been the manager at Scandia Towers
for a few months, he was already establishing a reputation
as one of the best resident managers in Honolulu.

a tribute to his profession and to MRMA--and is why MRMA
was proud to feature Gary Pendergraft as Resident Manager
